Pick a charity

Volunteer with My Cause UK and have a direct impact for a cause you feel passionate about! In exchange for volunteering your time, we will make a cash donation to any charity you choose. You don’t need to raise a penny, or seek sponsorship from anyone.

Give your time

The amount of time you give will depend on the festival. At weekend shows (usually Wednesday – Monday) you will give a maximum of 3 x 8 hours across the event period. Shifts for day events vary. All shifts are arranged to give you plenty of time to enjoy the event, and at longer festivals you’re given the opportunity to swap shifts with other volunteers.

We make a donation

In exchange for your time at the festival, we make a donation on your behalf to any charity of your choice! This donation doesn’t come out of your pocket, or your deposit. It comes from a fee we receive from the festival you’re volunteering at. We arrange this fee with event organisers to provide a team of volunteers at their event. This fee covers the recruitment, training and management for the team of volunteers. This also covers the charity donation & overheads such as insurance, catering and other logistical costs.

You get your deposit back

To volunteer with My Cause UK you will pay a deposit that acts as a guarantee against your ticket. This deposit is returned to you once you have completed your shifts. If you’re volunteering at multiple events you won’t need to pay multiple deposits either. One deposit can be used to secure your space at all of our events.

How does it work?

My Cause UK provides a platform for all charities to raise money by asking both their existing and new charity supporters to volunteer their time at UK festivals. All volunteers get free entry to the festival they volunteer at, as well as a wide range of VIP perks and support from our experienced festival volunteer managers. My Cause UK cover all the logistical costs involved in festival volunteering – training, management & plenty of tea and coffee! When volunteers have finished their shifts we make the cash donation to the volunteers nominated charity.
