The Wave Project

The Wave Project helps young people feel enthusiastic for life!

Starting as a small voluntary project in Cornwall, the charity now runs therapeutic surfing courses throughout the UK.

 These award-winning courses combine surfing with the positive energy supplied by awesome volunteers and professional surf coaches.  They help young people to learn and feel free while feeling calmer, less anxious and more positive about themselves. The Wave Project also runs a UK-wide surf club for young people and a beach school for pupils who are struggling at school.

We offer fully-funded surf therapy courses to young people aged 8-18 who have faced exceptional challenges.

There is no pressure to succeed – our volunteer surf mentors and professional instructors work to create an atmosphere of support and positivity at each weekly session.  By supporting The Wave Project you help us change young people’s lives for the better.
