RSPCA
The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) is a charity operating in England and Wales that promotes Animal welfare. It is the oldest and largest animal welfare organisation in the world. The RSPCA as a charity will, by all lawful means, prevent cruelty, promote kindness to and alleviate suffering of all animals.
We’re the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) and we’ve been here, looking out for animals, since 1824.
It’s our vision to live in a world where all animals are respected and treated with compassion.
Every day, with the help of our people and our generous supporters, we take steps to achieve our mission. From rescuing a stranded deer to changing the law, we’ve already achieved so much and come so far.
Take a look around these pages to discover all about our history and find out what makes us the leading animal welfare charity.
