We are a volunteer-led humanitarian organisation that helps people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are. A crisis can happen to anyone. We help more than a million people in the UK every year, supporting them in emergencies, providing care in the home, and teaching life-saving first aid skills, among other services. We are part of a global voluntary network, responding to conflicts, natural disasters and individual emergencies.

We help vulnerable people in the UK and abroad prepare for, withstand and recover from emergencies in their own communities.
