Hope For Life Katanga
Hope for Life Katanga is a UK charity based in Bristol, and registered as a CBO in Uganda, working in Katanga slum, Kampala. We began working in Katanga in September 2011, teaching 15 children whose parents couldn’t afford for them to go to school. We now work educating 65 children and are working with over 50 families in our Livelihoods program.
Vision
To enable families in Uganda to realise their potential towards living a self-sufficient life.
Mission
To support families in Uganda, through providing livelihoods trainings, education, healthcare services and community development engagement.
Objective
The prevention or relief of poverty in Uganda, by providing or assisting in the provision of education, training, healthcare projects, sanitation and all the necessary support designed to enable individuals to generate a sustainable income and be self-sufficient.
