APS Support UK

Antiphospholipid syndrome (APS) is an incurable life-threatening autoimmune condition that causes the blood to clot too quickly. The condition can cause low grade symptoms such as migraines, memory problems and fatigue, but also is responsible for potentially fatal events such as strokes, heart attacks, blood clots in the lung and DVTs. In pregnancy, APS is a leading cause of recurrent miscarriage and stillbirth, and is also associated with other complications such as pre-eclampsia, low weight babies and premature births.

APS Support UK, aims to achieve earlier diagnosis and offer support to anyone affected by APS through awareness, education and research.
