UPDATE- This event has been cancelled

We are heartbroken to see a number of events cancelled due to COVID-19. Sadly, the Shindig organisers have decided that their rescheduled September date for 2020 is no longer going to be viable, but will be back in 2021! We still have a number of events on our calendar for later in the year and encourage new applicants to apply for those.

It has been heartbreaking to see the range of festivals and live events that have been forced to cancel, however, we respect that these decisions have not been taken lightly and are likely to reduce the risk of loss of life, which is of course paramount.

If you’ve paid a deposit and have a confirmed position for this event, our team will be in touch shortly to outline the next steps.

24th – 27th September 2020

Kickstarting summer, Shindig is the first and funkiest festival in the West Country.

Shindig Festival is a glorious mash up of a gig, a house party, a circus show, comedy night, a wellbeing retreat and a kid’s party. No main stages, just a beautiful arrangement of stretch marquees, so you can be in amongst it, or sitting on the grass supping something cold.

We’re looking for festival volunteers to join our “Stewarding Team”. This role will require working 3 x 6 hour shifts across the weekend. You’ll get free entry, training and support from an experienced team, a meal for every shift worked, access to staff camping and facilities, crew wristband, a place to chill and charge with other volunteers and loads of time to enjoy the festival.

Free boiling water, tea & coffee

Free phone charging facilities to keep you connected

Access to crew toilets & showers

One meal token per shift
