Roles and Responsibilities:
Sustainability Roles: Our sustainability teams are at the forefront of helping festival goers reduce their environmental impact at events.
This role includes:
- Eco Bond Team: Eco, or Litter Bond initiatives incentivise festival-goers to keep their camp clean and recycle as much of their waste as possible. Our Team is responsible for informing the public of the initiative upon arrival, and processing Eco Bonds as festival-goers leave the site. This is NOT a litter picking role, but you may get to practice your “bin bag swing”. This role is perfect for volunteers with a passion for sustainability and cleaner festivals, to help all festival-goers keep things tidy!
These role profiles are designed to give you a good idea of what it will be like volunteering with us on site, however due to the ever changing nature of festivals and events, our team is expected to be flexible and therefore roles are subject to change or adaptation to meet the needs at any time.
Festival stewarding is great fun, but it’s also physically demanding. The majority of our volunteer roles will require you to be on your feet for the duration of your shift.
