What We Delivered in 2018

Where and what

A unique world of unity, creativity and freedom comes alive for five days at the Matterley Estate in Winchester.

A mix of reggae, rock, dub, folk, electronic and hip hop makes up one of the biggest lineups you’ll see all summer. As well as big names expect never-seen-before bands getting their break. Gorrilaz to headline in 2018, more acts TBA.

The vibe

Every detail tells a story as you enter the Boomtown revolution. The more obvious insights come from the huge stages that tower over each district. But it’s the hidden aspects you don’t want to miss. Leave no stone unturned.

The role

Volunteers will be required for 3 x 8 hour shifts across the weekend. No overnight shifts.

You will be part of the Festival Gates Team, welcoming festival-goers, checking tickets and wrist-banding. You’ll get free entry, a free meal for every shift, training and support from an experienced team, access to tea and coffee, a chill, charge and camping space with other volunteers and loads of time to enjoy the music.

Why Boomtown?

Go with your mates and not one of you will leave with the same story to tell.
