Applications for Boardmasters are now closed!

6th – 12 August 2019

Volunteers must arrive on Tuesday 6th August, before 6pm.

Your first shift will be Wednesday 7th August, with 2x further shifts taking place over the festival weekend – this means plenty of time off to enjoy the festival! All of our shifts are DAYTIME SHIFTS, with NO evening / overnight shifts!

Where and what

Five days of surfing and music in Newquay, Cornwall.

Strong headline performances are on the cards from the epic Florence & The Machine, Dizzee Rascal, Jorja Smith & Franz Ferdinand…To name a few that is! Stay tuned for more lineup announcements over the coming months.

The vibe

Chilled out surf vibes by day… and the biggest beach party you’ve ever seen by night.

The role

We’re looking for volunteers to join our wrist-banding & eco bond team – an initiative to keep Boardmasters tidy. You will be required for no more than 24 hours across the whole festival (3x 8 hour shifts)

You’ll get free entry, a free meal for every shift, snacks, access to tea and coffee, a chill, charge and camping space with other volunteers and loads of time to enjoy the music.


Why Boardmasters?

The biggest international professional surf contest and festival in the UK takes place against the backdrop of the spectacular Cornish coastline. You won’t see this anywhere else.
